As we approach the new year, Climb is reflecting on the incredible ways our network and team have made a difference in 2024. From charitable initiatives to community-building efforts, “12 Days of Impact” will shine a spotlight on both our partners and Climb’s own contributions to creating positive change.

From December 26th to January 10th, Climb will highlight a mix of stories showcasing the collective impact of our community on our LinkedIn page. Each day, we’ll share:
• Climb’s Charitable Efforts: From disaster relief donations to initiatives supporting local and regional communities, we’ll celebrate the causes we’ve contributed to throughout the year.
• Partner Contributions: A few featured partners will share their own charitable initiatives, highlighting the meaningful work they’ve done to give back.

Join Us in Celebrating Community Impact

Let’s take a look back on the incredible ways our network and team have made a difference this year:

Day 1: Trend Micro Extra Life

Extra Life is a charity supporting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, a network of hospitals working to ensure each child receives the best possible care by providing funding for critical treatments, research, and families needing additional financial support. Trend Micro over the last 8 years has raised over $100,000 for hospitals local to our offices (Dallas, Austin, Jersey City) with nearly $8,000 raised so far in 2024. For the last 5 years, employees have participated in a Hot Ones-style event where a nominated candidate is interviewed, and a hot sauce line-up is curated by a resident hot sauce expert. This year, we hosted our first pickleball tournament and will be hoping to finalize a golf tournament in the spring. Austin and New Jersey offices host a gaming day for families on the national Extra Life Game Day every year. Employees and their families bring board games, card games, set up video game consoles, and food to share for the entirety of the day.

“At Trend Micro, we prioritize in our culture Global Citizenship. We believe being active, compassionate citizens of our communities helps us work towards our mission of making the world a safer place. Whether it’s building houses for those in need, donating to earthquake relief, working with local parent-teacher organizations, providing Safe Surfing ePosters for K-12 schools, or our investment into the ExtraLife charity to drive funding to children’s hospitals, we encourage our employees to share their time, expertise, and goodwill to help our communities where Trenders live all around the world.”

Day 2: Acronis Cyber Foundation

The Acronis Cyber Foundation Program, established in 2018, is Acronis’ corporate social responsibility initiative dedicated to making education, digital skills, and environmental stewardship accessible worldwide. By building schools in underserved regions, providing IT training to vulnerable groups such as migrants and ex-offenders, running cyber safety classes for children, and running environmental initiatives like park restoration, ocean and beach cleanups, and tree-planting activities, the program bridges critical educational, digital, and ecological gaps. In partnership with non-profits and government institutions, the foundation reflects Acronis’ commitment to fostering inclusion, resilience, and sustainability in communities across the globe.

Help donate here!

“At Acronis, we are deeply committed to making a positive and lasting impact on communities worldwide. Through the Acronis Cyber Foundation Program, we strive to bridge gaps in education, digital skills, and environmental sustainability. By building schools, providing IT training, and leading environmental initiatives, we aim to create a more inclusive, empowered, and sustainable future for all.”

– Katya Turtseva, VP of Communications, Events and Foundation at Acronis

Day 3: Danny Did Foundation Push Up Event

Day three highlights the Danny Did Push Up event! Earlier this year, Climb hosted the 4th annual Push-Up & Golf Charity Event with Nathan Wysocki and CDWKevin Cohen for The Danny Did Foundation, raising funds and awareness for children battling epilepsy. Today, the daily push up challenge has raised over $500k for epilepsy awareness! Climb is honored to help support this great event for an important cause. Not only were funds raised, local news came to cover the event!

Day 4: TOLA Summit – Down Syndrome Partnership of North Texas

Day four highlights the TOLA Partner Summit! We were able to raise over $6,000 for Down Syndrome Partnership of North Texas at our TOLA Partner Summit this year with Logan Breitenbach and help from the Hole Hecklers. DSPNT has been serving families in North Texas since 1995. Having a blast while raising money for an important cause!

Day 5: Tampa Boys & Girls Club Ticket Donation

Day five highlights the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay! This past summer Climb had the opportunity to donate 60 tickets to the Tampa Bay Rays vs Baltimore Orioles game to the Boys & Girls Club of Tampa Bay! This organization has been on the forefront of youth development, working with young people from all backgrounds for over 90 years. Climb is honored to offer this fun community event to the youth of Tampa Bay and their families!

Day 6: Climb Arrowhead Partner SummitDaniel the Lion Fund

Day six we are highlighting our Rocky Mountain Partner Summit where we raised $7200 dollars for the Daniel The Lion Fund! The Daniel “The Lion” Fund organization supports families that have lost a child or battle long term critical illness. Climb was able to support this important local organization with Mike Taliercio, the help of our partner sponsors and The Hole Hecklers. Our CEO Dale Foster matched the amount raised for a total of $14,400 donated to the foundation! Climb is honored to continue our support with this organization and the close relationships that have been formed.

Day 7: NJ Office Toys for Tots Drive

On day seven we’re highlighting our annual NJ office toy drive! Every year around the holiday season we work together on collecting donations to give back to the community. This year we worked with the Highlands Fire Department on the annual Toys for Tots event where kids from the community are invited to the firehouse to meet Santa, sip hot chocolate, eat cookies, and choose a toy to take home for the holidays. Thank you to the fellow Climb members that helped donate toys to a great cause this giving season!

Day 8: Folds of Honor Golf Tournament

Day eight highlights Folds of Honor! Climb Channel Solutions was a proud sponsor of the 5th Annual Whiskey Creek Folds of Honor Charity Golf Tournament. Climb CEO Dale Foster participated in the golf tournament back in October at the Whiskey Creek Golf Club in Maryland. Since 2007, the Folds of Honor has carried forth a singular, noble mission – To provide educational scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service-members. Climb is honored to be a part of this event to unite the community through the love of golf, while actively contributing to a vital charitable cause.

Day 9: Evotek Golf Tournament

Today highlights the EVOTEK Giving Foundation! Climb was a proud Sponsor of EVOTEK’s Celebrity Classic golf tournament earlier this year. The teams had fun while supporting a great cause! The EVOTEK Giving Foundation’s philanthropic activities serve to invest in creating a more equitable IT industry by building relationships, empowering access, and creating a more diverse tech industry.

Day 10: Convoy of Hope – Relief for Helene and Milton

This year, instead of sending physical gifts to our valued vendors, resellers, and contacts, Climb has decided to allocate that budget to charitable organizations that positively impact our communities. In the US we will be giving to Convoy of Hope. Many people lost everything in the major flooding that swept through North Carolina during Hurricane Helene. Convoy of Hope has been on the ground all over the Southeast for months, ensuring survivors have what they need to recover. Climb was able to donate to this important organization to help out our fellow southeast communities as they recover from the storms. We continue to think of you all and your families this Holiday season!

Day 11: Heart & Stroke Foundation

This year, instead of sending physical gifts to our valued vendors, resellers, and contacts, Climb has decided to allocate that budget to charitable organizations that positively impact our communities. In Canada, we will be giving to Heart and Stroke Foundation. For more than 60 years, Heart & Stroke has been dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke. Their work has saved thousands of lives and improved the lives of millions of others. You’ll probably run into someone today who is alive and well thanks to the countless Canadians who have supported their cause with their time and donations. Climb is honored to donate to this important organization local to our Canadian communities!

Follow along on LinkedIn to see the incredible stories of impact and generosity from our partners. Whether it’s through the causes we’ve supported or the efforts of our partners, we hope to encourage others to start the new year with a renewed focus on giving back. Let’s make 2025 a year of even greater community support!
