We’re thrilled to announce our new global partnership with industry-leading DevOps and Application Management organisation, Canonical, the team behind Ubuntu.
Ubuntu is an open source software operating system that runs from the desktop, to the cloud, to all internet connected things. It was developed by Canonical founder, Mark Shuttleworth, who wanted to create free software for world-wide distribution. It is now the most widely used Linux workstation platform as well as the world’s most popular operating system across public clouds and OpenStack clouds.
At Climb, we will be ensuring Ubuntu users across the globe have the support and services required for updates and management of the software updates. The newest version, Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, is part of their long-term support scheme enabling users to receive long-term support for large-scale deployments including maintenance updates and Extended Security Maintenance.
