As 2024 comes to a close, it’s the perfect time to reflect on—and celebrate—our wins and achievements at Climb Channel Solutions over the past year.

Above all, I’m incredibly proud that this year we’ve demonstrated, in everything we’ve done, our commitment to Climb’s core values: putting our people and partners first, staying at the forefront of discovering new technologies and opportunities, and committing to excellence in speed and delivery.

Strengthening Our Global Brand: Climb Goes Blue!

This year, we gave Climb Channel Solutions a fresh new look. With the launch of our new website and the ‘Climb Goes Blue’ branding, we’ve created a unified identity that represents our commitment to growth, innovation, and partnership. While Climb got a visual refresh, the rebrand also showcased who we are, how we work, and our mission to a present a consistent and compelling brand across all markets. As we continue to evolve, our goal is the same: for our partners and vendors to recognise Climb as the trusted distributor they turn to.

As part of these rebranding efforts, DataSolutions officially became Climb Channel Solutions Ireland in September. After months of preparation and warming up the transition, we celebrated in style with a rebrand party in Dublin. It was a fantastic occasion, and we’re delighted that so many of our key partners and vendors could be there to celebrate with us. 

Climb’s Core Values 

This year, we revisited and redefined the principles that underpin the work we do at Climb: 

  • People come first: Empowering our team and partners to achieve great things. 
  • Consultative distribution: Tailoring solutions that meet the unique needs of each partner and their customers. 
  • New market opportunities: Opening doors and creating space in untapped areas of the channel. 
  • Speed to market: Helping new technologies reach the right people quickly and effectively. 

This approach is what we call #TheClimbWay. Next year, we’re excited to officially launch our #TheClimbWay campaign, where we’ll share insights on how Climb delivers value, thought leadership, and a consistent commitment to being your trusted distribution partner. Watch this space for more! 

Content and Social Engagement 

In 2024, we endeavoured to take our content strategy to the next level—a defining factor that sets Climb apart in the distribution space. From vendor launches to video recaps of our events, we delivered consistent, impactful communications to our partners and vendors. 

We’ve also boosted our presence on LinkedIn, growing our follower base and launching localised pages in Ireland, the U.K., DACH, the Netherlands, and France to connect more effectively with regional audiences. A special mention goes to our social media efforts. Through hundreds of posts and campaigns, we’ve driven conversations and engagement on key industry topics. 

To close out the year, we wrapped up with the much-loved Golden Ticket Giveaway. A cult classic, this campaign is a fun and festive way to celebrate and thank you, our incredible partners, for your continued support. It’s also one of the marketing team’s highlights of the year. 

Event Series 

At Climb, events are at the heart of what we do—and I hope you joined us for one this year. In 2024, we continued to deliver bigger and better events as part of our marketing strategy. Highlights include: 

Climb Partner Summit in EMEA

Our first EMEA Partner Summit brought together partners to meet the expanded Climb EMEA team and connect with our vendors. Save the date for 2025—we’ll be back in Dublin on March 12th and London on April 3rd for the 2025 Partner Summits. Mark your calendars now and we look forward to seeing you there!

The Vendor Den

Inspired by the famous Dragons’ Den, our Vendor Den was a creative networking event featured vendors pitching their solutions to a panel of channel experts. This new format for 2024 was a hit, and we’re excited to bring it back in 2025—both virtually and in person. Interested in becoming a dragon for the day? Let us know.

Expanding in Europe

Hosting our first events in the DACH region was a big step in growing our presence in these markets—and we’re just getting started. We also launched our AI Academy in DACH to equip partners with the tools and knowledge they need to manage AI responsibly and remain competitive in this booming space. We’re delighted to announce that we’ll be bringing the AI Academy to UKI in Q2 of 2025.

Climb Partner Edge 2024

Always a highlight, our channel-famous Partner Edge events in Dublin and London closed the year with a bang. With insights from Francis O’Haire on trends to watch in 2025 and celebrations continuing into the evening, these events are the perfect opportunity to reflect on our shared achievements.

Recognition for Our Work: An Award Winning Team!

This year, we were thrilled to be recognised for our efforts. Winning Best Distributor of the Year at the Tech Excellence Awards in Ireland and earning a Highly Commended distinction at the CRN Sales and Marketing Awards were proud moments for our team. 

Leading in Compliance Expertise 

As technology and regulatory landscapes evolve, we’ve aimed to educate our partners on how they can support customers in achieving compliance. From the EU AI Act to DORA and NIS2, our team has provided recommendations and insights into the solutions that can help. 

A key focus this year was DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act). With the compliance deadline nearing—January 17th, 2025—we developed a DORA Checklist to help partners identify areas where their customers may need support, and how Climb’s solutions can address any compliance-related challenges or gaps. What’s to Come in 2025 

Looking ahead, we’re excited to continue delivering value-driven distribution in 2025 and beyond as part of our #TheClimbWay campaign. As Dale Foster, our CEO, recently phrased it so well: we never want to outgrow our culture, no matter how much we expand. Our focus will always remain on strengthening our connections with you, delivering an exceptional service, and ensuring that our partners and vendors feel supported every step of the way with us.
