Compared to FY 2023, in 2024 Climb:
- Increased net sales by 32% to $465.6 million.
- Increased net income by 51% to $18.6 million.
- Increased adjusted net income by 64% to $24.0 million.
- Increased adjusted EBITDA by 61% to $39.6 million.
- Increased gross billings by 42% to $1.8 billion – distribution segment gross billings increased 44% to $1.7 billion, and Solutions segment gross billings increased 7% to $89.8 million.
EMEA growth
2024 saw Climb Channel Solutions, Climb’s distribution arm in Europe, expand its operations to the DACH region with the opening of an office in Munich in October 2024. Climb entered the DACH region’s IT channel with a new value-add concept – the ‘Climb AI Academy’. The Climb AI Academy offers IT partners a framework with custom AI training and helps them to gain a foothold in the booming AI market and position themselves for growth. The concept has proved so successful that the AI Academy will be launched in the UK and Ireland later this year.
EMEA growth has also been enabled by existing technologies in Climb’s vendor portfolio, including VAST, ManageEngine, SolarWinds, Quest Software. In addition, Climb Channel Solutions has signed additional partnership deals with Tier 1 vendors including: ControlUp, HCL Software, AlgoSec, Arcserve, Flexera, Libraesva, Censys and Coro.
To ensure channel partners have the information they need about Climb’s vendor portfolio, as well as market knowledge and insights about 2025 challenges and opportunities, Climb will be rolling out several new initiatives and events throughout the year. This includes the Climb Partner Summit this May in London, which brings Climb vendors, resellers and channel leaders together for panel discussions and networking opportunities. Climb will also be hosting a series of virtual ‘Vendor Den’ events to help introduce and launch emerging technology vendors in the UK market.
At the end of Q4 2024, Climb announced over 12 internal promotions, highlighting the company’s commitment to recognising and advancing talent from within. Among these were two significant senior promotions: Kim Stevens has been appointed as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), and Matt Sullivan as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Both Kim and Matt are seasoned professionals with extensive experience in the channel, bringing a wealth of knowledge and leadership to their new roles.
